Safety & Compliance

Stable Foam is the safest method to save property and to save lives. Establishing the high standard of industry safety, ADL has never had a worker or environmental safety accident or incident. ADL best practice procedures, requires a well to be assessed for condition and specific needs. Job layout is critical to provide an economy of effort delivering a safe and efficient product. Daily corporate interface on site and through remote video monitoring also holds our safe work practices absolutely accountable. ADL operators are also fully certified and updated as Canadian Registered Safety Professionals.

Best accountable work practices result in lower worker risk, and a dramatic decrease of environmental risks and zero foot print. All material placed into the well and formation is extracted with no residuals left behind.

In November 2007, Walter C. Tersmette, P.Eng, who chairs the Canadian Regulatory Work Safety Directives, created a 56-page report “Air-Assisted Well Cleanouts Using Stable Foam: Safety-Compliance Assessment of ADL Procedures”, for ADL on the strict adherence and compliance with the new Alberta and Energy Board’s (EUB) Directive 033. Directive 033 expanded on EUB’s requirements for well control, blow out prevention, and crew training procedures to include an additional new requirement for addressing the potential for explosive mixtures and ignition wells. Based on the new methodology,

Mr. Tersmette created the report to document and prove ADL’s strict adherence to the new governing directive.
