ADL was invited to participate in a business-focused mission to Beijing and Shanghai from May 26-31, 2011 as part of the Calgary Economic Development (CED) Mission, in conjunction with the Mayor of Calgary, Naheed Nenshi, Tourism Calgary and the Calgary Airport Authority (YYC).
ADL Oilfield Services Ltd., a Calgary based oil and gas service company’s President, James Paul, represented the organization on this mission to discover and create new economic opportunities and business between the city of Calgary and Mainland China. The mission’s main focus is on the energy and financial sectors. According to Mr. Paul, “to be chosen as one of 26 companies to attend this prestigious event along with other major Oil and Gas companies, is not only an honour but it also bodes well for the future of ADL. The timing of the mission aligns with strong interest we are currently generating from contacts in mainland China who would like to better understand how our stable foam generated at surface can provide solutions for their well cleanout and completion needs. We not only look forward to representing our city and our country on this mission, but we are also excited about expanding our ever growing international interest and scope, beyond executing on our domestic growth strategy”.
